Spiritual

• Continue to build trust in God through trustworthy adults
• Express that Jesus, their Friend,loves them
• Know God make them and takes care of them
• Beginning to want to obey God
• Beginning to know sense of shame and doubt when doing something wrong
• Can say "I'm sorry" to God for wrong things they do
• Need to hear that Jesus still loves even when others don't show love to them, and that He loves and forgives them when they do wrong things
• Worship enthusiastically and loudly, but sometimes in their own words
• Repeat prayers

• see the Bible as God's Word

Intellectual

• Sorting out people(husband/father; may call someone else's grandmother "grandma")
• May enjoy telling colors, numbers,and shapes
• Have a general sense about the world, but lack the verbal skills to express it in words
• Think very literally/concretely
